Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pine Node Editor (the "Extension"), a Chrome browser extension that lets you build TradingView strategies visually and export the result as Pine Script source code. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Extension does

Pine Node Editor is a no-code development tool. It lets you assemble indicators, conditions, and actions on a visual canvas and compiles that graph into Pine Script v6 source code that you can paste into TradingView's own Pine Editor. The Extension does not place trades, connect to any brokerage or exchange, execute strategies, monitor markets on your behalf, or provide trading signals, recommendations, or financial advice of any kind. It generates code — what you do with that code is entirely up to you.

Pine Node Editor is an independent, third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradingView. "TradingView" and "Pine Script" are trademarks of their respective owner; we reference them only to describe compatibility.

2. Free and Pro plans

The Extension is available on a Free plan with a core set of nodes and local graph saving. The Pro plan (currently €10/month) unlocks the full node catalog, Pine Script compile/export, and graph import/export, and is billed as a recurring subscription through Polar.sh, our payment processor and Merchant of Record.

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and fees already paid for elapsed billing periods are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are handled by Polar and evaluated case by case against applicable law and card network rules — see Polar's buyer terms. If you have a billing issue, contact us first at [email protected], or Polar directly.
  • A Pro license key can be active on up to 3 devices at a time. Activating on a new device once that limit is reached requires freeing up a slot first (via Polar's customer portal, or a deactivation option in the Extension where available).
  • Checking your Pro status requires an internet connection. If you're offline, the Extension keeps trusting the last known status for a short period but cannot re-grant Pro access without reconnecting.
  • Prices may change for future billing periods; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers in advance.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. Because Pro access unlocks immediately on activation, by activating your subscription you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose this withdrawal right once the digital service has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Educational purpose — no financial or investment advice

Pine Node Editor, including its bundled Templates, Randomizer output, and any tutorials or documentation, is provided for educational and informational purposes only — to help you learn how strategy logic can be structured and translated into Pine Script. It is not a signal service, not a trading system sold on the promise of returns, and using it does not imply or guarantee any level of profitability, however it's paid for (subscription or otherwise).

Pine Node Editor is a construction tool, not an advisor. It does not evaluate whether a strategy is a good idea, does not recommend entering or exiting any position, and does not tell you what to trade. Every decision to build, configure, generate (including via the Randomizer), modify, test, deploy, or act on a strategy is made by you and is entirely your responsibility — we do not make or influence that decision at any point.

Like other automated code-generation tools (including AI-based ones), the Extension's output can contain mistakes: a compiled script may not do exactly what you intended, may contain logic or calculation errors, or may fail to compile in a given TradingView environment. Do not treat generated Pine Script as correct by default — always read it, and always backtest and validate any strategy before using it with real capital. We provide no guarantee, express or implied, that any script — hand-built, template-based, or Randomizer-generated — is fit for any purpose, profitable, or free of defects.

Nothing produced by the Extension is financial, investment, or trading advice, and we do not manage funds or execute trades on your behalf. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and their outcomes.

4. Automated execution and webhooks

Some nodes (for example alert message templates) let you shape the text TradingView sends when an alert fires, including formats intended for third-party webhook/auto-trading services. The Extension itself never sends a webhook, never talks to a broker or exchange, and has no visibility into what any third-party automation does with an alert once TradingView sends it. If you choose to wire a generated script's alerts into an automated execution pipeline, that setup and everything that follows from it — including trades placed without your manual review — is entirely your own configuration and your own risk.

5. Platform requirements

The Extension runs only in desktop Chrome and Chromium-compatible desktop browsers. It does not work on mobile Chrome (Android or iOS) — this is a platform limitation of Chrome's extension APIs, not a design choice we can adapt around.

6. Your content

The strategy graphs you build and the Pine Script generated from them are yours. We don't claim ownership over anything you create with the Extension. Graph data is stored in your browser (see our Privacy Policy for details) — we don't hold a copy on our servers, so you're responsible for exporting or otherwise backing up graphs you want to keep.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the Extension outside of what the Chrome Web Store's own terms permit, and not to circumvent or abuse the Pro license/activation system. We may suspend or revoke access for accounts found to be doing either.

If you discover a defect or bug in the Extension or in the Pine Script it generates, we'd appreciate a report to [email protected] — it helps us improve the tool. As with everything else in Section 3, choosing to continue using functionality you know or suspect to be defective, including with real capital, remains entirely your own decision and risk. For security vulnerabilities specifically, please report them to us privately rather than disclosing or exploiting them publicly, and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate before any public disclosure.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that generated code will be error-free, logically correct, profitable, or will compile successfully in every TradingView environment. As with any automated code-generation tool, outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete — you are responsible for reviewing and validating everything the Extension produces before relying on it in any way, including before pasting it into TradingView or connecting it to any automated execution pipeline.

9. Limitation of liability and indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including trading or investment losses, lost profits, or losses from automated/webhook-driven execution — arising from your use of the Extension, any script it generates, or any decision you make to build, deploy, or act on that script. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party arising from your use of the Extension, a strategy or script you built or deployed, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it directly. Any dispute that can't be resolved this way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your own country of residence under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Extension and supersede any prior agreements on the subject. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
